DIRECTIONS TO THE FAIR
The Salem Fair is located on the Salem Civic Center grounds at the corner of Boulevard and Texas Street in Salem, Virginia. It is centrally located and can be easily reached from several directions. Coming from I81, take exit 141 and follow the signs to Salem. From the exit ramp, you will be on Rt. 419; go through 2 traffic lights (the first at Main Street, the second in front of Blockbuster). After the 2nd light, go over a small bridge. Once over the bridge, you will see a sign pointing to the right indicating the direction of the Salem Civic Center. Once you veer right off of Rt. 419, you will be on Texas Street, also known as the 460 Bypass and the Truck Route. (If you missed this turn, that's fine. Go through 2 more lights, the second of which will be the intersection of Rt. 419 and Boulevard. Turn right onto Boulevard.) Travel about 1 mile to the next traffic light and turn left onto Boulevard. You will see the Civic Center on your left. Parking can be reached from a number of different turn offs from the Texas Street or the Boulevard entrances.
